A Couple McNeil Autopoints

A while back I picked up a slew of pencils from Michael McNeil of Northwest Pen Works, two of which I’ve had photographed for awhile but I haven’t gotten around to posting them. The first is one of the earliest of the Autopoints, in sterling silver:


The clip on these matches anther early 1920s brand, the Ritewell, although I’ve not been able to find the connection between the two:



The engraving is a very deep and elaborate pattern:



The other pencil was described by Michael in his emails as "flourescent pink":



And when it arrived, I found myself hard pressed to think of a better description.
