Another Nice Duet of Tripoints

Paul Erano had this one on his table at the Baltimore show this year:


I wasn’t sure whether I had a pearl white example of the Nichols Products Corporation’s Tri-Point, but I was sure I didn’t have one in that color with this on the top:


I’ve written about RCA Victor’s “Magic Eye” tubes here before (see https://leadheadpencils.blogspot.com/2017/08/a-trio-of-tri-points.html).  RCA Victor introduced these radio tubes in 1935, and Nichols, which supplied RCA with many of its advertising and promotional pencils, took out a design patent for the incorporation of the creepy eyeball-like device to mimick the appearance of the tubes.  So now that I have two examples:
