Another "Pencil in the Iron Mask"

Back on April 2, I posted an article about Harry Esterow’s unique clip. Another one surfaced recently that added another clue:


This one, in addition to the patent number, indicates that it’s from Brooklyn, New York and sports the moniker "Ballerina Jr."


Whether Esterow had some connection with the cheap line of "Ballerina" ballpoints, I don’t know. But as for this pencil, if it looks like an Autopoint – good eye. Unfortuantely, no revelations here, because in this case, the "iron mask" simply masks a broken off top.


That’s ok. It was the clip that interested me!
